The Kingdom of Heaven
My tropical home away from home, Jumeirah Vittaveli is certainly a breathtaking oasis! Sadly my Maldivian trip is drawing to a close as we are traveling back to London for London Collections Men starting this upcoming Friday! From diving, swimming with baby sharks to night-snorkelling, coconut oil making demonstrations, boat trips and cycles, this little paradise allowed me to let my guard down, relax and simply be happy.
The look of the resort is based upon a Maldivian village, with 43 beach villas and 46 water villas surrounded by tropical fish and coral reef. Honestly, I’ve never seen such an underwater beauty! Villas are contemporary but with nods to traditional Maldivian architecture and jungle vegetation lends privacy to each property and gorgeous sunset ocean views.
And it doesn’t stop there… Jumeirah Vittaveli is a home to four restaurants, Finesse with fabulous views of the water, Mu Beach Grill with sunset views, Samsara enticing mix of Asian and international dishes and my personal favourite Swarna offering a well focused indian cuisine. But what makes Jumerairah Vittavelli really stand out is the Talisse spa, where you can fully detox or pamper yourself with a range of bespoke spa therapies and massages. There’s no shortage of comforts, not in Jumeirah Vittaveli.
