Man of Today
Paris is always a good idea, they say. It’s from the few cities in the world that have the power to seduce you and fulfil you. But who would not jump at the opportunity of meeting GQ France Man of the Year and the latest face of Hugo Boss fragrance, Mr Gerard Butler in a one on one interview? Well, I took my chances. Just before his big glamorous night, at the Musee d’Orsay, I had the privilege to talk to the man himself about style, the meaning of success and his future plans all thanks to the Hugo Boss fragrance team.
Mr Butler admitted having a fantastic time filming the “Man of today” film for the Boss Bottled fragrance and feeling deeply honoured collaborating with the iconic brand. As he stated, “the campaign is more than selling a product. It allows men to feel inspired”! He also implied that nowadays people do many things in life and success is measured in different ways. So, it’s important for a man to be authentic, dedicated, passionate and always willing to follow his heart. Regarding his personal style, he confessed “my ex-girlfriend used to call me a caveman” as he prefers to groom his beard on his own and chooses to be more rough. He also explained how much he loves the Boss Bottled fragrance and how he likes gifting it to his beloved ones. If you’ve missed him, the good news is he is about to star in 3 new movies, so be patient.
Such an inspiration to meet such an iconic actor, like Gerald Butler. It got me thinking about my future plans and my idea of success. While wandering around Paris, wearing my Hugo Boss tuxedo paired with Boss Bottled sense, I realised that effort makes the difference and authenticity defines a true gentleman.
