Poetry of Earth

How fitting! Etros show was a perfect ode to earth and nature around us! An attempt to forge space and earth, progressive and classic, both in the show as well as in the collection! Colorful screens, immersive technology and high quality designs all contributed to a mystical atmosphere and experience! With the #EtroSkyIsTheLimit the show was accessible to a wider audience, allowing for people at home to livestream the performance, view exclusive video extras that were produced specifically for the show, while at the same time share there thoughts and reactions of the collection. Heavily inspired by the mountain range of the Himalayas, the collection featured sportswear inspired tailoring in vivid colours and textures. Parkas, puffa jackets and patchwork lifted us up into the sky high mountains!

I chose to lean towards the Earthy tones inspired by the show – and yes! from head to toe, combining a soft suede jacket with camel chinos. My Etro scarf, a classic addition to any look. The emphasis on the Earth, its boundless beauty and gifts, must not go ignored. ‘The poetry of earth is never dead’. Let’s all remember that!
