The Leather Jacket

Superdry and Golden Globe winning actor Idris Elba have collaborated for a premium menswear Autumn/Winter 2015 collection. Designed alongside James Holder & Julian Dunkerton, the 250-piece collection will be exclusive to Superdry’s flagship London store as well as Selfridges and online, later rolling out worldwide. Luckily I’ve got my hands on one of my favourite pieces of the collaboration, this striking leather bomber jacket.  Styled with a cropped trousers, Chelsea boots and my backpack, the look worked perfectly for a morning stroll around the city. 

Further, the collection mirrors Elba’s grounded and cool style, featuring deep tonal colours, such as midnight blues and graphite greys and ranges from outerwear, t-shirts, to merino crew neck jumpers and fitted fine-thread shirts which through intricate detailing, high quality fabrics and subtle branding ensuring that Elba and Superdry’s DNA is visible throughout. This collaboration highlights Superdry’s aspiration to be a globally recognised lifestyle brand and further projects Idris Elba’s British style worldwide.
