Few weeks ago, driving down South on Sunday for one night, The Gentleman Blogger team took the MINI Clubman for a ride to wrap up the end of a great year and celebrate Christmas before the last working week of 2015. Mini has been busy refreshing its entire range of cars and it’s been the turn of the Clubman. This is the second version of the five-door hatchback and comes with a bigger boot, perfect for the team’s photography equipment, styling reinforcements and personal belongings.

It’s both longer and wider than the former Clubman but drove smoothly across London’s busy streets, straight through to the motorway, across the South Downs countryside and down to Brighton pier.

The three team members at the back of the car did need a rest and stretch break during both two-hour drives but seeing as the car was gliding along smoothly, two did nap comfortably along the way. MINI fans will not be disappointed with the MINI Clubman, as it delivers where it needs to, powerful, smooth brakes and sleek controls.
