LFWM day 1

Men’s Fashion Week is back in London. London, the city where my fashion sense matured in, stimulating my expressive drive and personal aesthetic. Its long history and diverse population as well as its colours and vibe are all evident on its streets, wherever you happen to be walking by – from Knightsbridge to Hoxton or from Holborn to Angel. Returning to the London scene always sparks a special feeling inside of me energizing me with excitement and inspiration. I am always anticipating the new looks that talented and forward-looking London designers have envisioned for us and how they will reflect into our own wardrobes. Here’s a toast to an influential first day!

So to get things started, the first look of London Fashion Week Men is a fresh take on my style – so as to gradually get into the spirit of the days to follow. I choose a smart casual look for a busy day of shows, pairing my Dsquared2 oversized black jacket with a chrome lining detail with a knit hat in the concept of – from the slopes to the city.  My Balmain nude coloured boots with silver hardware and contrasting laces help me brave the cold while never missing out on elegance and sophistication. I then choose a simple button-up black shirt and khaki straight legged trousers to complete the look. Simplicity, ease and a positive attitude is what this day and outfit are all about.
