Icelandic Vol 2
It’s been almost two weeks since my visit to Iceland and I still can’t erase from my memory all the breathtaking landscapes. In case you missed it, you may read all about my first Icelandic adventure here. This time, literally dive in with me into a completely rare all time classic Icelandic adventure! Putting my toes in Jökulsárlón, the glacier lagoon, has always been on my “things to do before I die” list. Imagine endless floating icebergs that shape a dramatic, yet fascinating, imagery. And to top that, the surprisingly calming sound of icebergs cracking, while they move or float around, could very well be the best remedy after a hectic month.
Such a spectacular scenery needed exceptional outerwear. Thus, I wore my favourite Qasimi jacket from the AW 16 collection. The colour actually matched perfectly with the hues of blue of the Icelandic nature. This cropped navy puffer jacket with a fur collar, also kept me warm and stylish during my escapade. It’s the essential outerwear you will need when Winter really kicks in. Who would have thought, the Qasimi latest collection draws inspiration from the fierce nature of the sea and the protection of its elements. In addition to that, all fabrics and patterns reflect the designer’s minimal and architectural aesthetics, while highlighting his cultural heritage. Discover more of the Qasimi collection and shop online here. Also after plenty of requests stay tuned for my Icelandic adventure guide coming up next!
