self-evident

An undisputed leader in men’s fashion, with an unrivalled heritage, Salvatore Ferragamo has done it again. The recent reorganisation of the house with new creative directions for Shoes, Men as well as the Women’s collections, has proved incredibly positive. Guillame Meilland’s approach was self-evident in the recent MFW show-  adapting the classic men’s fashion items such as the shirt and trousers, and imbuing it with ease, effortlessness and combinations of textures from leathers to light knits, prints and muted pastel colours. Despite all the seeming effortlessness, the attention to detail and difference raises the collection to other levels – from loose fitting trousers to streamlined suits and from pinstripe to corduroy prints.

Accordingly, I wore an adaptation to the classic suit, I chose to wear a slick yet earthy linen short-sleeved suit (which rarely happens). How could I resist? It was crisp and polished, in a city-meets-safari ensemble, offering refined comfort. Pairing it with blue shaded accents with a shirt, the details of my clutch as well as my black leather studded shoes, it elevates the suits muted tones, ofcourse, all by Salvatore Ferragamo!
