Life in Blue

Sun, sea, sand… I’m currently craving the fun and summer highs here in London. While it seems to be one of the worse British summers that I have ever experienced, this story takes me back to our dreamy trip in the Maldives a month ago.  Since the morning I have been scrolling through thousands of images of all shades of blue and taken back to that vibrant mind-blowing isolated island life.

In my tunic shirt and shorts by Qasimi and probably one my favourite looks for the summer,  this story holds great memories of deep relaxation and of the perfect long relaxing day at the beach in a silhouette that is fluid and luxurious.

Khalid Qasimi, lives between Sharjah and London and graduated from Central Saint Martins. The London-based designer, clearly gets inspired by minimal architecture but also both military and traditional Middle Eastern costumes for most of his menswear collections. Khalid, continues to fascinate me every season with his passion for menswear and I’m so happy to see him returning back to the menswear arena.
