Le Petit Soldat

 

“Once upon a time there was a little soldier, a brave little fellow… he loved and enjoyed life. He had to push himself every day in practise, just like everybody else.”

Yesterday I had the pleasure shooting this story with longtime friend Gleeson Paulino and Rafael Perez Evans. The duo captured these extraordinary portraits in a gorgeous villa in the heart of Santa Teresa neighbourhood in Rio. There was something magical in everything about this house. The golden light, the faded walls, the deconstructed ceiling… aged beauty at its best. My super dapper smart look from Dsquared2 worked as the contrast. Just like a well-trained soldier in a frightful war. I hope you enjoy these wonderful images…
