Fall Weekend Getaway
As we are heading to official Autumn season, it’s customary not only to inspire you to go deep and sort out that wardrobe of yours, but also to encourage you to refill it with new items. This time I picked my outfit from the Bicester Village, the outlet heaven, and I must say I was wowed by this place’s vibe and variety!
But before I start talking about my favourite autumn getaway outfit, shot on a great location, let me tell you a few things about the Bicester Village, if you haven’t heard anything about it while playing caveman for the past 20 years (!). At first, it is located near the Cotswolds at the heart of Oxfordshire, very central England and with perfect transportation links (almost an hour away from central London). It is the most reputable outlet destination for all British trend setters, but also attracts each year thousands of visitors from all over the world. The designer outlet heaven nestles 130 boutiques of the best and world famous brands, each offering great deals and discounts. To be honest, I also enjoy having a cup of tea next to the bustling shopping area.
So, now it’s time for some inspiration for my first weekend getaway of the new season. Nothing says autumn has arrived quite like a fine suede jacket, thus I picked a cool Missoni red jacket with loom knit wool insets on sleeves and back and paired it with a Missoni wool sweater. Ideal for the first September chills! A casual look needs a cool tailored chino like the one I got from Hackett. Its comfort and slim fit makes it a must for every modern man. Taking comfort to the next level, I picked these extra comfort and stylish Bally military boots from leather so, no need to worry about walking in the autumn rain.
Supremely cool weekend bags are always the answer to your needs if you want class and extra space for your travelling outfits. At Bicester Village you may choose from an array of amazing weekend bags from Tartan (Hackett), to fine (Dunhil) or crocodile leather (Bally).
Now, I am sure you want to ask me about this absolutely cool vintage car. I shot these pics on one of the coolest places I have ever visited, the Bicester Heritage, the UK’s first park for the restoration, storage and enjoyment of vintage and classic cars, motorcycles and aeroplanes. A must-visit place if you love vintage cars (like the wonderful one I hired during my visit there), history of aviation or want to imitate the “Imitation Game” movie, staring Benedict Cumberbatch.
