When the winter weather isn’t as forgiving as you wished it was, an easy solution to keeping warm and covered is experimenting with tones, patterns and textures. By layering versatile essentials you can enjoy the fact that you needed them in the first place ! There is a certain essence of cool when you employ gradients and hues of the same colour for one look – Ice Grey, Charcoal Grey, White!

For this winter’s day, running around grey London as a backdrop, I chose to blend layers of grey, totally captivated and mesmerized by its depths, hues and diversity. Emporio Armani layers through and through – most importantly ? Organic. As if the coolness factor of layering greys wasn’t enough ! A Light grey shirt and jacket teamed with a coat and scarf of the same tone. I pair charcoal grey trousers in a loose tailored style that features two pleats at the waist and rolled up finishes.  I complete the look with Hugo Boss sneakers in total white – a contrast, which brings balance !
