Today, I am really pleased to announce this special collaboration with Gucci and join the celebrations of Gucci’s legendary horsebit loafer 60th anniversary.
In 1953 Guccio Gucci's son, Aldo Gucci, expanded his family's business with the incorporation of footwear and sealed the fate of horsebit loafer as the most iconic Gucci shoe ever made. Sixty years after, Gucci narrates the legacy of the horsebit loafer with a dedicated exhibit at the Gucci Museo in Florence and the unveiling of a global campaign transforming the House’s store windows and Facebook page into a cascade of fancy footwork.
